The Grade 9 titanium tube keeps total weight at 6.6 ounces without sacrificing durability. The 17-4 PH stainless steel baffles tolerate aggressive cleaning methods including brushes and ultrasonic tanks, which aluminum or lower-grade steel baffles cannot withstand. The click-together baffle stack uses proprietary external standoffs that minimize contact with the tube wall, so the baffles slide out cleanly even after heavy fouling. Rimfire ammunition is inherently dirty. The Mask 22 HD is built with that reality in mind.
